Robert Ray Bowling Jr. of Beckley, WV, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 20, 2017. He was the son of Robert Ray Bowling Sr. and Paesley Celest Stafford. Robert Ray Jr. is preceded in death by his grandfather, Charles Edward Bowling and great grandfather, Raymond Douglas Stafford. Those left to cherish his memory include his parents, Robert Ray Bowling Sr. and Paesley Celest Stafford; grandmother, Sharon Frances Stafford; great grandparents, Robert Ray and Teresa Marie Bowling; two uncles, Thomas Dale Bowling and Christian Isack Stafford; aunt, Mary Marie Bowling; great uncle, Mathew Shane Stafford and wife Kathryn; great aunt, Sara Michelle Raimey and husband Anthony and a cousin, Sierra Raimey. Always loved, never forgotten the hope in our spirits and the heaviness in our hearts. When one life ends another life starts. Through sun or rain I know one day I will see you again. “There ain’t no grave, can hold my body down.” Graveside services will be held on Friday, September 22, 2017 at 12:00pm at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens with Pastor Sandra Jackson officiating.
