Robert Dane Jarrett

May 17, 1947November 26, 2019

Robert Dane Jarrett, age 72 of Crab Orchard, WV, went to be with his heavenly father on Monday, November 25, 2019. Born May 17, 1947 in Crab Orchard, WV the son of the late Fletcher Jarrett and Hazel Campbell Jarrett. Mr. Jarrett was a coal miner and member of the Bible Baptist Church. He enjoyed taking care of his 11 children, hunting and spending time at the camp on the River. In addition to his parent he was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Wayne and Roger Jarrett and 3 sisters, Margaret, Margie, and Retha; and one great granddaughter Kyra. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 51 years Maryetta Redden Jarrett; 4 sons, Matthew and wife Tabitha Jarrett of Leland, NC, Robbie Jarrett of Hinton, WV, Russell Jarrett of Huddleston, VA, and Patrick Jarrett of Sophia, WV; adopted son, John Humphries and wife Betty of MacArthur, WV; 2 sisters, Ruth James and Ruth Ann Horton both of Crab Orchard, WV; 11 grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren. A celebration of Life service will be held at Bible Baptist Church on Friday, November 29, 2019 at 1pm with Rev. Sam Green officiating.

Dane was always ready to set up the Family Reunions for our familes and he put alot of hard work into it for alot of years, And he always made sure our Mom had help when she was still with us. Our prayers are with his Wife and Family may God give you all peace and comfort. Dane will be missed. Sending you our love.

I remember going to his camp and staying up playing cards til late at night and telling jokes and talking about life. And man he could grill some good food. we will miss you but I know you are happier
