Robert Lee Jones, Jr.

Robert Lee Jones, Jr., age 60, of Oak Hill, passed away on Saturday, August 22, 2020 at his home, born on January 6, 1960 in Cheverly, Maryland, he was the son of the late Robert Lee Jones, Sr. and Julie Rollins Jones.

A man who knew what he wanted, Robert was easy going and whom he never met a stranger. He was a hard-working individual who never gave up. Robert’s life motto was “it is what it is, we will get through it.” He was the best “grandpa” one could ask for. He loved and cherished his grandchildren and his family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sons, Robert Lee Jones, III and Kevin Jones. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife whom have been together for 42 years, Della Jones; his children, Ashley Jones Bickford and husband, Charles Bickford, Jr., Amber Jones and fiancé, Clifford Cox, and Dylan jones and wife, Amber; his grandchildren, Robert Lee Jones, IV, Emma Jones, Ashlee Jones, Madison Jones, Logan jones, Carl Cox, III, McKenzie Cox and Clifford Cox, Jr.; sisters, Wanda Jones and Vicky Jones; brothers, Mike Jones and Tinky Jones; and many nieces and nephews.
