I was incredibly lucky to have Mrs. Tate as my 5th & 6th grade science teacher at Crescent, and she helped me through so many different science projects. I remember so much of what she taught to this day. I couldn’t have been more excited when I saw that she moved to Independence Middle, as she was such a comforting presence for me during that time. I had gone to a different middle school than all of my friends from elementary, so it was so nice to be able to talk to her every day again. I was very saddened to learn of her loss, and my thoughts are with the family during this time. Mrs. Tate was such a bright light that will be missed.

I was lucky to have Mrs. Tate as a 1st grader, then in 4th grade and again in 6th grade. She was a great teacher and also a great volleyball coach. Thank you for all those wonderful years and sharing all your wisdom.

I was lucky enough to have Mrs. Tate in two different years at crescent. First in second grade, then in sixth. She was one of the best teachers I’ve ever had and I loved coming to her class every morning. She helped shape who I am today and for that I want to say thank you!

Mrs. Tate was my fourth grade teacher at Crescent. That was one of the best years I had in school. I couldn't wait to go to school in the mornings to see what we would do. She was a great teacher!

I’m one of the many students Mrs. Tate taught while at Crescent. She was amazing at what she did, and truly made a difference. She inspired so many students. One of the greats. I am so sorry for her family’s loss.

I was one of her former students and I could say that she was the best teacher I ever had, she was incredibly loving and caring. Anytime me or any of my friends needed help she was always the first one to volunteer. She will certainly be missed

I remember when I would try to be the class clown and she would tell me how much better I am than that.
She always gave me advice and would ask me what’s wrong whenever she seen that I was upset.
I loved her science class! She always made class fun, she was a great teacher! I really hate that she’s gone, but I know she’s in a better place with the Lord Jesus Christ ❤️

I love you mrs.Tate!!!
