Sara Stafford-Raimey

Sara Michelle Stafford-Raimey, 48, of Beckley, West Virginia, went home to the Lord on May 6, 2026. Born July 4, 1977, in Beckley, West Virginia, Sara will be remembered with enduring affection by all who knew her.

Sara dreamed of helping others and pursued that dream by attending New River Community College and Concord University, where she achieved her bachelor’s degree in social work. An accomplishment that reflected her kind-hearted regard for people in need and the care of others.

Sara was a beloved mother, daughter, sister, and aunt. Her presence brought comfort, her care was freely given, and her memory will remain a lasting blessing to her family and to the many lives touched by her liveliness and spirit.

She has been rejoined in Heaven with her beloved husband Anthony "Moe" Raimey, and her father Raymond Stafford.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter Sierra Raimey; mother Sharon Stafford; brothers Tim Stafford and Matt Stafford (and wife Kathryn); sister Paesley Stafford; nephews Christian Stafford, Hunter Stafford, and Landon Bowling; niece Lacey Stafford; step-daughter Sheena Raimey; step-son Christopher Anderson; granddaughter Kaliyah Raimey; as well as many other beloved extended family members.

Blue Ridge Funeral Home has the privilege of honoring Sara's final wishes and serving her family. No services will be held at this time.
