

Scott was born July 15, 1971 in Beckley; he was the son of Richard "Richie" Henderson and Annette (Worley) Henderson of Eccles.
Scott was a gentle, selfless, and soft-spoken man; he was always ready to help anyone that needed it. He enjoyed keeping his yard pristine, washing his truck, playing baseball with his son and teammates at Trap Hill Little League, riding his side-by-side, visiting with his neighbors, camping, fishing in Tennessee, and watching Top Gun Maverick.
He most recently worked 17 years for Arch Resources as a Diesel Foreman and prior to that he worked 13 years at Interstate Brands Corporation as a Diesel Mechanic and a Fleet Manager.
Scott was preceded in death by his grandparents, Donald and Shirley (Minor) Worley and Arlie and Rachael (Martin) Henderson; uncles, Ralph and Roger Henderson, and his brother-in-law, Basil Y. Allen of Glen Daniel.
Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 23 years, Frances " Crissy" Allen-Henderson; son, Blake Henderson of Saxon; parents, Richard "Richie" Henderson and Annette (Worley) Henderson of Eccles; father and mother-in-law, Barry and Terri Allen of Glen Daniel; sister, Shelly (Henderson) McClung and husband, Tommy; niece, Sydney and nephew, Tucker all of Eccles; sister-in-law, Mellissa (Allen) Ramsey and husband, Chris; nephews, Harley and Colten and niece, Abagail all of Oak Hill; niece, Brittni and Matt Orcutt ( Bryson, Khloe, and Kruze) of South Charleston; also two nieces, Nevah and Kayla Allen of Cool Ridge; numerous cousins, extended family, friends and co-workers.
Services to celebrate the life will be held 11:00AM Thursday at Blue Ridge Funeral Home Beckley. Following the services the services, Scott will be laid to rest at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Beckley.
Friends may gather with the family Wednesday at the funeral home from 4:00PM until 8:00PM.
