

Stanley "Tink" Russell Redden, born May 12, 1954, in Beckley, WV, to the late Eber Russell “Bud” Redden and the late Frankie Jeannie Redden, passed away on Sunday, June 21, 2026, following a long illness.
Tink spent his life working on cars and loved to spend time with his family and friends. He loved the outdoors and spent many times camping and fishing on the New River. He loved anything that involved automobiles, from racing to autobody repair, restoration, and painting, which he did with his brothers and friends, and that was some of his happiest days. He shared a smile and would lend a hand to those in need. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Michael Richmond, two daughters, Tammy Raines and Rachel Raines; a brother, Bud Redden; a sister, Norma West; and beloved spouse, Linda Burgess.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife and best friend of 42 years, Patricia Redden, his son, James “Allen” Redden and wife, Caryn; daughter, Laura Turpin; daughter, Rebecca “Becky” Taylor and husband, Curtis; his grandchildren, Emma, Jacob, Anna, Abigail, and Sophie Redden, Robert “Bonks” Russell Turpin and wife, Elizabeth, Kendall "Kinder" Atwell, William Redden and wife, Mercedes, Cody and Audrey Taylor, Felicia Cassidy, Jessica, Joyce and Gloria Raines; he was blessed with 18 great-grandchildren; and his beloved dog, Ringo.
He is also survived by his 10 siblings, who will miss their brother terribly, Maryetta Jarrett of Crab Orchard, Janis Blankenship and husband, Jackie of Pemberton, Linda Terry of Beckley, Darlene Myers and husband, Billy of Fayetteville, Cindy Snuffer of Pulaski, VA, Nyoka Meadows of Riner, VA, Teresa Rogusky and husband, Richard of Beckley, Jeffrey Redden of Riner, VA, Melody Toney and husband, Terry of Beckley, and Frankie “Joey” Redden and wife, Candace of Wynnewood, OK; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
A Celebration of Life for Stanley “Tink” Russell Redden will be held at 4:00 PM on Friday, July 3, 2026, at the Beckley United Pentecostal Church, 2230 S. Kanawha Street, Beckley. Friends and family are encouraged to join us as we celebrate Tink's life.
