Terry Joe Peterson

Born March 2nd, 1951, at Logan General Hospital, Logan WV, he was the son of the late Freddie Joe Peterson and Emilee Justice Peterson.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Sherry Goode Rose Peterson, his brother, Stanley Peterson, and his nephew, Jesse Lee Dewey.

Survivors include step-children Tony Rose, Angela (Ronnie) Johnson, Aaron Rose; step-grandchildren Marcus, Tanner, and Dylan Johnson, Carter Rose, and Kalista Berry; his three sisters. Jill Dewey (Calvin) Smith of Prosperity, Susan (Danny) Davis of Grandview, and Kelly Smith of Pineville,; nephews Evan (Jennie) Dewey of Beckley, Zach (Kasey) Smith of Florida, Kevin (Traci) Smith of Pineville, Nathaniel Levi (Sydney Johnson) Smith of Alabama, and Seth Peterson of Florida; nieces Emily Peterson of Charleston WV, and Rachel Peterson of Florida.

Great nephews and nieces, Micah and Josie Dewey, Macayla Swift, Braeden Gibson, Jagger and Jett Smith, Kendall and McKenna Smith, and a host of other loving family and friends.

There will be a memorial service on Friday, May, 23rd, 2025 at 11:30 am at Beckley Regular Baptist Church, 707 Johnstown Road, Beckley with Rev. Butch Acord officiating.
