Timothy Edward Hartsog

Timothy E. Hartsog, 64, of Beckley, WV, passed peacefully at home on October 17, 2023 and was ushered into the arms of Jesus. He was a loving husband, devoted father and pawpaw, and cherished brother and friend. He led a life filled with love, faith, and dedication.

He is survived by his wife Rhonda, of Daniels, WV; daughter Leah of Daniels and her husband James DeGrandis; his son Dylan, of Springfield, MO, and his wife Nichole, along with grandkids Austin, and Macey. He’s also survived by his mother, Imogene Dodd, from Nimitz, WV, as well as his siblings:, Cathy Harvey, of Nimitz, WV, and her husband, Jack, Lynn Hartsog, of Cross Lanes, WV, and Tommy Hartsog, of Boise, ID, and his wife Cindy, along with a loving extended family and his beloved dogs, Hank and Matilda. He’s preceded in death by his father, Edward Ralph Hartsog of Beckley, WV, and step-father, Gordon Dodd of Nimitz, WV.

Beyond his roles within the family, Tim, was a man of many hats. He was a lab manager, auto-shop owner, bus driver, coffee roaster, mailman, and CEO of radio station 88.7 “The Sound”. He was an active member of Calvary Assembly of God, serving in many volunteer roles. He had a passion for sharing the love of Jesus to everyone.

A memorial service celebrating Tim's life will be held at Calvary Assembly of God on Sunday, Oct 22 at 4PM following a viewing at 3PM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Rosenbaum Family House, 30 Family House Drive, Morgantown, WV 26506.
