

Vada “Louise” Milam, also known as Weezie, 73, of Mabscott, entered into the eternal Gates of Heaven on Tuesday, July 18, 2023. Born on March 30, 1950 in Clifftop, WV, she is the daughter of the late James Lee Stull and Elizabeth Beatrice Persinger Stull.
Louise Milam was a member for over 40 years of Bethel Freewill Baptist Church in MacArthur. She loved working on Sudoku puzzles, word searches, and watching Wheel of Fortune. Her favorite thing to do was spending time with her grandchildren. Every night, Louise made sure to send good night texts to every member of her family letting them know how much she loves them.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband and forever love of 49 years, Kenneth N. Milam; sisters, Marlene Stull, Brenda Chapman, Peggy Young, Donna Cadle; and brother Denny Collins.
Louise is survived by her daughters, Jerri Perry and her husband, Kenneth of Middletown, CT, Melissa Smith and her husband, Jeffery of Beckley, and Beth Milam-Robinson and her husband, Marques of Mabscott; her grandchildren, Marques Aaron Milam, Christian “Neak” Milam, Jessica Smith, Kamau Perry and Kijani Perry; great-granddaughters Aarionna and Ivy Milam; Sisters, Eva Jacob, Janet Pietkoski, and Sandy Ross; brothers, Jim Stull and Dave Collins; many nieces and nephews; and her beloved dog “Bam Bam”.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 am-12:00 pm, Tuesday, July 25, 2023 and the funeral Services will be held at 12:00 pm at Blue Ridge Funeral Home with Pastor Scott Lester officiating. Burial will follow the service at the Milam Family Cemetery in Cool Ridge.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to close friends Ava McKinney, Peggy Stull, Mike and Debbie Williams, and Kathy Clay for all their love and compassion.
