Valeria Jane Reed

Valeria Jane Reed, 92 of Beckley, passed away, Tuesday, April 12, 2016. She was the daughter of the late Thomas Marshall and Maude Brash Marshall. Born January 20, 1924 in Scarbro, West Virginia. She was a member of the Eastern Star and a Past Marton at Winolia Chapter No. 59 for more than 50 years. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Andrew “Jack” Reed, Jr. Those left to cherish her memory include son, John Reed and wife Joan of Port St. Lucie, FL; granddaughter, Jennifer Smoak and husband Donald of SC; great-grandsons, Marshall and Jackson Smoak of SC. Friends may gather with the family Friday, April 15, 2016 from 1-2pm at Blue Ridge Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held 2pm, Friday, April 15, 2016 at the funeral home with Pastor Glen Kuhn officiating. Entombment will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.
