Vincent "Vince" Dwayne Walker

Born December 21, 1971 in Beckley, WV; he is a son of Nancy Brooks Walker and the late Richard Elmer Walker, Jr.

Vince loved to hunt, ride his side-by-side, music, burning up the highway whether it be with 4 or 18 wheels, and WV Football. But most of all he loved his Lord, and was a member of the Faith Community Church, Beckley.

Vince loved being employed as a Truck Driver for Crook Brothers Produce and was very supportive of the Coal Miners and the US Military.

In addition to his father, Vince was preceded in death by his sister, Lisa Gail Walker; maternal grandparents, Homer and Rowena Brooks; paternal grandparents, Elmer and Bonnie Walker; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving mother, Nancy Brooks Walker of Shady Spring; a brother, LtCol Richard E. Walker III, USMC (Ret) and wife, Tracie of Chesapeake, VA; nieces, Madeline Warren and husband, Jesse of Chesapeake, VA, Lily Walker of Virginia Beach, VA, and Ava Everidge and husband, Sgt Thomas Everidge, USMC of Okinawa, Japan; great niece, Kate Warren of Chesapeake, VA; great nephew, Jasper Warren of Chesapeake, VA; numerous extended family and friends.

Services to celebrate the life of Vincent Dwayne Walker will be held 1:00PM Monday, April 21, 2025 at Faith Community Church 299 Grey Flats Road, Beckley with Pastor Jason Lowe and Pastor Sam Peterson officiating. Following the services Vince will be laid to rest at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Beckley. Family and friends will be serving as pallbearers.

Friends may gather with the family from 11:00am until time of the service Monday at the church.
