

Warren was a devoted Christian and loved talking about God and wanted everyone to make it to heaven with him. He often enjoyed the power of prayer and hearing bible verses for encouragement and would love when his children and grandchildren would often pray with him. He loved spending time with his family and cherished every moment shared with them. He gave each of his family members their own nicknames. Warren enjoyed listening to bluegrass gospel music, singing “I’m glad I met the Man”, tending to his garden was very important to him. He often cheered and kept score for the Cincinnati Reds and WVU Mountaineers. He was known for his strong work ethic and dedication, having worked on the Railroad in Gary, IN and, also as a coal miner, 28 years at Slab Fork Coal Company. He enjoyed riding down the road in his wheelchair talking with people and made sure not to forget his Beech-Nut “chewnabacker.” Warren was deeply loved and will be greatly missed.
In addition to his parents, Warren was preceded in death by his beloved wife Donna (Bun) Tedder, brothers John Tedder, Connard Tedder, and Roby Tedder, and sister Janet Neil. Those left to cherish his memory include his sisters Freda “Pete” Withey, Sharon “Chicken” Tedder (Sid), Reva “Squirt” Shrewsbury, and Janice “Blair” Tate, children Alicia “Wizel” Zaccheo (Jack), Lori “Poodle” Bostic (James), Darin “Shag” Tedder (Roxie), Kenny “Stevenson” Tedder (Patti), and Mark “Pops” Tedder, grandchildren Lindsey Feathers (Michael), Joshua Tedder (Casey), Sarah Griffith (Bobby), Isaiah Zaccheo (Dadami), Danelle Caldwell (Greg), Wesley Bostic, Megan Woody, many great grandchildren who he dearly loved, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be Monday June 15, 2026, from 5pm to 8pm, at Blue Ridge Funeral Home in Beckley, WV. A funeral service officiated by Pastor Bill Ballengee will be Tuesday June 16, 2026, at 1pm with visitation one hour prior.
