Wilda Marie Todd, age 98, passed away on Monday, March 18, 2019 at Bowers Hospice House in Beckley. Born on September 8, 1920 in Beaver, WV, she was the daughter of the late Elijah Lawrence Gill and Lula Shrewsbury Gill.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, George Edward Todd; sister, Mildred June Worley; and brother, Melvin Rice. She is survived by her daughter, Luella Kirk; two grandchildren, Angel Marie Turner and husband, Larry, and Danny Lee Kirk and wife, Felicia; and five great-grandchildren, Trent Joseph Turner, Chloe Nicole Turner, Edward Troy Kirk, Danny Joseph Kirk and Zoey Marie Kirk.
Mrs. Todd loved bowling. She was a former member of Beaver Baptist Church and a current member of Grace Gospel Church in Beaver.
The family will receive friends Tuesday evening, March 19, 2019 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Blue Ridge Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 pm, Wednesday, March 20, 2019 in the Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Home with Pastor Jack Barber officiating and Larry E. Turner as speaker. Entombment will follow in the Peace Mausoleum in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.
Family and friends will honor Mrs. Todd as pallbearers.
