Winnie Grace Fox

WINNIE GRACE FOX Winnie Grace Fox, 98 ½ years old formerly of Maplewood, passed away March 15, 2023 in Rainelle at the home of her dear friends and caregivers, Shirley and Howard Snead. Born September 2, 1924 at Ellison Ridge in Summers County. She was the daughter of the late Richard and Hettie Lilly Pack. Mrs. Fox was of the Pentecostal faith and was a member of the Red Springs Community Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Fox in 2009, a daughter, Karen Fox; two grandsons, Billy Joe Rakes and Kevin Canterbury; five sisters, Alice Gross, Maddie Reed, Iva Williams, Bernice Shuck, and Roselea Hannah. Those left to cherish her memory are a son, Charles Fox Jr and wife, Wendy of Wisconsin; two daughters, Norma Jane address unknown and Carol Sue Fox of Meadow Bridge; one brother, Leroy Pack and wife, Beverly of North Carolina; one sister, Anna Keister of California; seven grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Services will held at Blue Ridge Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, March 21, 2023, at 2 PM with Sister Shirley Fox officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Beckley. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to Red Springs Community Church, 7478 Backus Mountain, Meadow Bridge WV 25976.
