Mrs. Webb was born June 27, 1936 in Baltimore MD, the daughter of the late Saverio LePore and the late Margaret Pasche LePore.
She was formerly employed by local Food Stores in Maryland for over 30 years.
She is survived by one daughter: Robin Sowards and husband, Bruce of Troy, NC and two sons: Matthew Humphreys and wife, Karen of Troy, NC and Jeffrey Humphreys and wife Mary Ann of Abingdon, MD; the father of her children, LeRoy Humphreys; step-children: Jackie Radford and husband Arnold of Baltimore, MD, Debbie Fetty, Baltimore MD, Kathy Sowards and husband William, of Mt. Gilead, NC, and John Webb, Baltimore MD; seven grandchildren; nine step-grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; one sister, Carolyn Beach and husband Arthur of MD; one brother Robert LePore and wife, Rita of PA. She was pre-deceased by her husband, John C. Webb, daughter Anita Hohman and brothers, Eugene LePore, Jerry LePore, and Joseph LePore.
Adele was a beloved mother and grandmother, and a very giving person. She enjoyed cooking, going to the beach and crocheting. Adele had an immense love for children. Babysitting was a talent in which she flourished. She was responsible for starting a Food Bank at her church, Troy Wesleyan Church.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 19, 2018 from 12:30 pm to 1:45 pm at Troy Wesleyan Church, 842 Ophir Ave., Troy, NC. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm, with the Rev. Daniel Shuskey and the Rev. James Brewer officiating.
The family is also receiving friends on Monday, April 23, 2018 from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Schimunek Funeral Home of Bel Air, Inc., 610 West MacPhail Road (at RTE 24), Bel Air, MD, where a funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 11 am with entombment to follow at the Gardens of Faith Memorial Gardens.
