

Albert Marshall Claggett V, 50, passed away on October 11, 2025, in Belcamp, Maryland. Born on January 24, 1975, in Prince George's County, Maryland, Albert lived a life marked by dedication to others, a deep appreciation for history, and a love of the outdoors.
Albert was the beloved father of Colleen Mae Claggett and Kyle James Claggett. He shared the journey of parenthood with Maryellen Gilroy, the mother of his children.
He is also survived by his mother Carolyn Cravaritis and stepfather George Cravaritis; his brothers David Claggett and Joseph Cravaritis. Albert was preceded in death by his father, Albert "Rusty" Marshall Claggett IV.
A man of many passions, Albert found purpose as a volunteer EMT—giving his time selflessly to help those in need.
Albert had a deep love for nature and could often be found hiking with his dog along wooded trails. These quiet moments outdoors were among his favorites. A devoted history enthusiast, he had a particular fascination with medieval times. He delighted in attending Renaissance festivals with friends.
Albert’s memory will live on through those who knew him and shared in the many facets of his vibrant life.
Visitation services will be held at Schimunek Funeral Home of Bel Air, Inc., located at 610 W MacPhail Rd, Bel Air, MD, 21014, on Sunday, October 19, 2025, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. An additional visitation will take place on Monday, October 20, 2025, from 10:30 am to 11:00 am, followed by the funeral service at 11:00 am.
