

Ann Helene Borchers, born December 21, 1957, to Richard and Adelene Taylor, passed away on February 27, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose presence filled every room with warmth and unwavering support.
Ann shared 48 beautiful years of marriage with her beloved husband, Wayne Borchers. Together they built a life rooted in love, laughter, and deep devotion to their family.
She was a loving mother to Allison Halligan and her husband Timothy, and to her son, Matthew Borchers, whom she now joins in eternal peace. Her greatest joy was being “Mom” and “Grammy.” She adored her grandchildren—Sydney Halligan, Kayleigh Kohler, and Kadence Anders.
She is also survived by her brother, Richard Taylor, and his wife, Lisa, with whom she shared a lifelong bond.
A dedicated employee of Harford County Public Schools, Ann spent much of her career at Fallston Middle School, where she formed countless lifelong friendships and made a lasting impact on colleagues. She cared deeply for her school community and was known for her kindness, loyalty, and generous spirit.
She cherished her lake trips, where some of her happiest memories were made with friends. Ann was also a second mom to many of her children’s friends and loved seeing them grow and succeed over the years.
Her legacy is one of remarkable strength, showing resilience through life’s most challenging moments. She leaves a lasting example for her family and friends, and will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in her memory to BARCS (Baltimore Animal Rescue and Care Shelter) or the American Cancer Society.
