My deepest sympathy to the entire family.  My memories of Aunt Peggy are of such a happy, smiling person.  She was always welcoming and would draw you in with her warmth.  In reading the tributes, she was a great example of a life well lived. God Bless You Aunt Peggy.

My deepest sympathy to all of Peggy's family. Your Mom/grandmother was a great lady and she surely loved each and everyone of you. Ms. Energizer bunny and I first met in 1941 in the alley between her cousin Shirley's house and my own. Our children kept us busy but in our latter years we re-connected-One of my funniest memories was of the two of us on a visit to Shirley in Fla. at the Jacksonville airport. both in wheelchairs being pushed by one porter at the same time and laughing like crazy We shared many a good time and I too know she is in heaven  and smiling at us all.

I am so happy that I got to meet your mother/grandmother through Milynn.  I fell in love with her the very first day that I met her.  I was a complete stranger and she welcomed me with open arms! I will remember her smile, her jokes,her trying to make up scrabble words, and her hug and her kiss the last time I was at your home. No words will make the pain go away, but just know that she was loved by many and I thought about her often. Milynn loved her like she was her own grandmother and that relationship was so sweet to sit back and watch!!! I am praying for your family <3

I was very sorry to see the paper today.  Your mom was one of the "coolest" mothers I've ever known.  I can remember sitting around your table as kids, and she would be right there with us (Henrietta, too).  I also remember she had the best lemonade recipe I've ever tasted in my life.  I always tell people when I'm having lemonade that it just doesn't taste as good as Nancy Bauer's mother's recipe!
