

September 22,2015 at the Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, Maryland,
surrounded by her family. She was the wife of the late Elmer Ray Baker Jr., a Baltimore
City firefighter who passed away in 1978. They were married for over thirty years.
AnnaMay was born in Glen Burnie, Maryland. She was the eldest daughter of the late
Frederick B. Helmert and Anna C. (Hill) Helmert. She had lived with her family in
Middle River and Baltimore City.
She was a member of the Dewey Lowman Post 109 Auxiliary when she lived in
Arbutus. She most recently was a resident at the Catholic Charities Senior Housing at
Abingdon Apartments. AnnaMay enjoyed playing bingo, going to the casinos, and eating
streamed crabs.
AnnaMay is survived by her daughters Anna F. Gardner and her husband Thomas, and
Linda M. Kadolph and her husband Gary, and two loving grandsons Michael Gardner
and Kevin Kadolph
Her sister Virginia M. Litz and brother Frederick W. Helmert preceded her in death.
Visitation will be at the Schimunek Funeral Home of Bel Air, Inc. 610 W. MacPhail Rd. Bel Air, MD 21014
on Thursday 2-5 and 7-9 PM where the Funeral Service will be held on Friday at 11 AM.
Interment to follow at Meadowridge Memorial Park
