

On May 31, Arvil Dorraine DeVage Jr. age 79, devoted husband of Glenda Bueche DeVage. Sons: Jeffrey DeVage and wife Lori, Michael DeVage and his wife Gina. Also survived by four Grandsons: Justin, Travis, Tanner and Quinn DeVage and Great grandson: Caleb Hench. Proceeded in death by Caroline DeVage. Loved and cherished by Glenda's children, Christian Bueche and his wife Keirstin, Bridgett Sadler and her husband Gil, Stephanie Billets and her husband Peter, Rachel Michael and her husband Mark, Robert Bueche and his wife Beth. Grandchildren: Cory, Emily, Paige, Kate and Blake Bueche, Amanda and Troy Sadler, Olivia and Benjamin Billets.

Ary was a member of the Maryland National Guard from 1954 through 1961.
He started at AAI Corporation, Hunt Valley in 1956 thru 1989 and advanced to Test Engineer and Facility Manager. He was a Licensed Master Electrician in Harford and Baltimore County and started his own commercial electrical business.
In the year 2000, Ary was received into the Catholic Faith.
Throughout his life he volunteered his time and talents. As a young father he coached his son's softball teams and was a Scout Master with the BSA. Later in life, he volunteered at the Harford County Homeless Shelter, Our Daily Bread, and Archdiocese Seafarers. Many fund raisers at St. Marks Catholic Church in Fallston. He was an accomplished Woodworker and skilled Craftsmen. He shared his knowledge of woodworking by volunteering at the Harford County Wood Shop, through the Dept. of Recreation, as a Foreman, for 7 years. He was a beekeeper and a member of the Susquehanna Beekeepers Association. His greatest honor, however, was chairing and assisting in the construction and beautification project for St. Marks 125th Anniversary. He used his skill as an Electrician to wire and assist in the massive bell tower construction. With the assistance of Master Gardener, Barbara Smith, he helped with the design and installation for the Commemorative Brick Pathway and Gardens at St. Marks. His life of service, respect, generosity, patience and kindness will live in the hearts of those that knew and loved him.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mark Church on Saturday at 10 AM. Entombment Highview Memorial Gardens.
