Thank you all for attending the celebration of Beverly Babyok's Life.

I was thinking of words to describe my wife Beverly Babyok -
She was honest, warm, friendly, witty, outgoing, trustworthy, gutsy and sometimes a instigator.
But I think the best word to describe her is extraordinary, as Bev did all these things to a higher level than most.
Let me sight some examples:

1.As a good Christian Bev would certainly help those who needed help, whether that be clothing, food or shelter. Or just somebody to listen, when life isn't right.  Bev took this to a higher level by seeking out those in need. Leonard will talk more about this more in a few minutes.
2.Bev, from the time she was a little girl planned to be a good mother. And an extraordinary mother she was, she had a way with children. After one party at our house, she had 12 little ones who wanted to stay over, many she had just met for the first time. By the time the parents would return for their child they would be saying please and thank you, Miss Beverly. Some of the parents would then say, that's not my child!
3.She had extraordinary artistic talent. Bev enjoyed many crafts like plaster craft, painting and making baby books. She was a room re-modeler extraordinaire. She could look at a room and form a mental picture of how she wanted it to look. I would often question her color choices during the process and she would just say with confidence, trust me you'll like it. She was always right and the room would look fantastic.
4.Christmas was always an Event every year. She told me her childhood was not a happy time and she was going to make sure that she made as many people happy as possible at Christmas. Her planning and shopping started in September and did not end until the wee hours of Christmas day. Christmas at our home was indeed extraordinary, with fun, food and laughs. I doubt anyone ever left feeling sorry that they came.
5.As her husband the most extraordinary event I remember was our wedding. She started planning as soon as we were engaged and as with most of her events, she left no details to chance. It was said by many who attended that it was the most elegant wedding they ever attended. It was the happiest day of my life. As my good friend Charlie Powell later said, it looked as though I was walking on air that day. And that was the made possible only by the extraordinary love of my wife and best friend Beverly Babyok.

Thank you for allowing me to share a snapshot of the most wonderful woman I ever have known. I could easily go on, but want to allow others to share their thoughts.

I first would like to thank everyone for coming and showing their respect for my mother Beverly and to celebrate her life. Writing this eulogy is one of the hardest things I have had to do, but it is important to me that I say some kind words about my mother. 

My Mother was only 64 when she passed away. It all happened so fast we never really had the chance to say good-bye. We all wish we had more time with her, while we know she is at peace and her struggles are at an end, there is pain and sadness within us. 

My mother was an amazing woman, the strongest woman I have ever known. She was very kind hearted and would do anything for anyone. She cared greatly for her family, friends and would help a complete stranger. It was so important to her to see that everyone around her was happy. 

She gave up her career to raise my two brothers and to make sure they didn't go without during their childhood years. She worked very hard to raise all of us with good values, morals and strengths. I will forever be grateful for all my mother has taught me. Even during my troubled teenage years she sowed me nothing but love and support and taught me so much about handling things when times get tough. I am proud of the woman and mother I am today, and I have my mother to thank for it all. 

I remember being a kid and we would get up on the coffee tables and dance and sing. We would be out shopping on Saturdays and she would just start singing and dancing with me in the stores. At the time I remember being so embarrassed and now it is one of my  fondest memories of my childhood. She always made me laugh and has left me with many great memories. 

During the holiday season if a family was struggling she would go out shopping to make sure they had a meal to eat and gifts under the tree for the children to wake up to Christmas morning. There was a lot of love in my mothers heart. Even though she is gone now I know her legacy will live on in all of us. She was an incredible woman who inspired everyone who knew her. 

The way she touched our lives will remain, and I ask all of you to keep those memories alive.

Mom, you memory and love will live forever in my heart.

Bev, You were more than a man could every ask for. Beautiful, kind, caring, witty and honest. You will be missed by many, but not the least is me.

Beverly was a kind,loving person and a wonderful friend. She will be missed dearly but always remembered.  We are blessed to have had her in our lives. Love and Hugs to all her family and Friends.

 Bev's name is impressed in our hearts and the sound of her voice saying our names will be among some of our strongest memories. All my love,Aunt Alice

Beverly, was a Beautiful person inside and out. She will be sorely missed at First National Bank of Abingdon. My thoughts and prayers are with Gerry and his family. Terri Bostock

Bev, we never met, but I'm sure Gerry found you to be a wonderful person and I know you will be missed.  All good thoughts to your family - they will not let your memory fade away.

My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief.  May your memories bring you comfort.

The thing I will remember about you most is your sense of humor. You looked at life with such joy and you loved people so that they knew they were loved. Growing up, your house was a second home to us, your family was a second family. Thank you for always being so kind even when life wasn't always good to you. Rest easy Aunt Bev and save a space for us up there. I love you so very much ❤

Bev you are and amazing woman. One who always treated everyone as family every time they stepped into your house. You will dearly be missed by everyone who has ever met you. Amanda, Troy and Collin, I am so sorry for your loss. I truely will miss Beverly, amd I am deeply saddened by her passing.

May God great you with the love you've shown us all. Rejoice now you are in his loving care
