On February 6, 2014 Carl J. Blessing passed away. He was the loving husband of M. Kathleen Blessing (Russell); cherished father of Judith L. Blessing and her wife Andrea, Christopher J. Blessing, Jennifer B. Hutton and her husband Joel and Susan Blessing Weirs and her husband Chris; he was the dear brother of Sr. Lois Blessing, Joyce Bartolomeo, David Blessing, Mary Burns and Jack Blessing; devoted grandfather of Russell Blessing and George and Lily Weirs.
Relatives and friends are invited to call at the Schimunek Funeral Home of Bel Air, Inc., 610 W. MacPhail Road (at Rte 24) on Tuesday from 3-5 and 7-9 pm. A funeral mass will be celebrated at the St. Ignatius Church, Hickory on Wednesday at 11 am. Interment is private. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to The V Foundation, 106 Towerview Court, Cary, NC 27513.
