Had the pleasure of teaching CJ in high school. Gregarious, kind, always ready with a 'good morning' and a smile.  I am so very sorry for your family's loss.

Dear Pusateri family, though I never had the privilege of meeting your dear son, My son Timothy treasured their friendship greatly. CJ left his impression on many which is a testament to his life. May he and you be at peace.

I am deeply saddened by the loss of CJ. He was a wonderful friend who could light up every room. His smile and his laugh were infectious, and I will miss them forever. I want you all to know that I am on the other side of the world spreading joy, love, and stories of CJ. I am thankful for knowing him, and I will continue to celebrate his life from now on. I am so very sorry for your loss, his passing has been hard to
swallow for us at 1-32. Pus and I arrived at Charlie Rock the same day and he was my team leader for over a year and a half, leading the best gun team in the squadron. Lots of great memories were forged serving under him. He always put us before himself exemplifing a true NCO, treating each of his subordinates with dignity, care and respect. His loss is a sad one but we will remember his life and take what he gave us and pass it one to the next generation of soldiers. RIP SGT Pus
