Charles Edward Corson passed away on March11th, 2026, at the age of 91. Beloved husband of Jean Marie Corson (nee Cilipote.) Devoted father of Dominic Corson (Karen), Vincent Corson (Mary Grace), and Joseph Corson (Alicia). Loving grandfather of Christina Phillips (Matt), Andrew Corson, Natalie Corson, Allie Corson, Dominic Corson, Anthony Corson, and Gabriel Corson. Cherished great grandfather of James and Katherine Phillips.
Charles grew up in the Highlandtown neighborhood of Baltimore, served on the USS Kearsarge during the Korean War, and became a master electrician retiring after 30 years at General Motors. He enjoyed golfing, working out and mostly spending time with his family.
A visitation will take place at Schimunek Funeral Home of Bel Air, Inc., located at 610 W. MacPhail Road, Bel Air, MD, 21014 on Wednesday, March 18th, 2026, from 4-8PM.
A memorial mass will take place at St. Francis DeSales at 1450 Abingdon Rd, Abingdon, MD 21009, on Thursday, March 19th, 2026, at 11 AM.
