

On June 24, 2026, Charles Henry Heintzeman IV passed away. He was the beloved husband of Dorothy M. Heintzeman (nee Beck); devoted father of Teresa Arndt, her husband Chip, and Chuck Heintzeman, his fiancée Celeste; loving grandfather of Jessica Alder, her husband Tony; cherished great grandfather of Austin, and Autumn; dear sister Danene Myers; loving nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Chales was a proud United States Army veteran who served during the Vietnam War. He was also a lifetime member of the American Legion. Following his military service, he built a lifelong career at Bethlehem Steel, where he remained until his retirement. Affectionately known as "Coupon Charlie," he became legendary among family and friends for his ability to make every dollar stretch just a little further, always finding a deal and never letting a bargain go unnoticed. While Charles was practical by nature, he also loved to travel and spending time with his family brought him joy.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the Schimunek Funeral Home, Inc., 610 W. MacPhail Rd, Bel Air, MD 21014, on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, at 11:00 AM, at the funeral home. Interment will follow at the Bel Air Memorial Gardens.
