Dad,
There are so many memorable stories you’ve told us throughout the years that I’ll always have with me but the lessons you gave within them are what I will always cherish.

If you want something, do it, don’t wait. Be it a car, a bike or love. Time is short, you deserve it and you should enjoy every minute of it with the people you love.

If something broken don’t leave it to someone else to fix it. You can figure it out, and if you can’t a little tape and glue go a long way.

Family and friends are the most important thing you will have in this life. Always think of them before yourself and you will never have need of anything else.

While I may not be able to call you an old man, share a beer or shake your hand good night, this is not good bye. I know every time I look in the mirror I’ll see you because your part of me and made me who I am.

I love you and miss you Dad.

You are my best friend, my love, my confidant. I will forever cherish the 29 years we shared together. We built an incredible family that is strong. Life at times, wasn’t always perfect, but we got through those storms together. This storm is the roughest yet, no doubt.

The little things you do for me were the most appreciated. My morning notes will forever be treasured. Always signed, I love you, ME. My DD coffee that you brought me every afternoon without fail, well it’s just not the same if you’re not handing it to me with a kiss and hug.

I will soon begin to find my way in this world without you but I know you’ll be watching over me and guiding me. Please don’t let me screw up to bad before you intervene.

I will forever hold you in my heart. Rest easy David.

My life.
My love.
Always.

Early in our childhood we saw our cousins often. We went our separate ways and never kept in touch. I was saddened to hear of David's death. I last saw David at my Dad's funeral. Prayers to all!

Thank you for teaching me to live a life full of love and laughter. You always lived your life how you wanted to, and I really admire that. I know you are finally out of pain, and you are watching over us with Grandpop, Grandma, and Aunt Rhonda. Drink a cold one, smoke a cig, and keep telling your crazy stories! I love you and I miss you.

Love,
Kimmy

I can't believe my little brother is gone. I have so many memories of growing up with you. Watching you grow into one of the finest and honorable men I know. I am proud that I am your "Sis."

I take comfort in the fact that you lived your life the way you wanted, regardless of the physical issues you had. You leave behind many loved ones. You adored your wife, Karen, and all of your children. Your love for me, Butch, Paul, and Kevin was every present. We will come together to say farewell, but know we will meet again. God Bless you, David. I love you and miss you terribly.
