I am so sorry to hear of Debbie's passing. She was a warm, caring presence in the SMG offices in Forest Hill. Being a remote employee, I did not get a chance to see her but a few times a year, and yet she was always welcoming to me. Knowing of her love of the Christmas holidays, I always brought her a card during the holidays that she greatly appreciate. She will be missed.

My sweet, adopted Grandma!
May God rest your beautiful heart and soul. I will forever cherish our calls, texts, FaceTimes, Snapchat’s, you treating me like family since the day I met you! You were such an amazing, sassy and hilarious woman, I told Katie all the time that I was meant to be your grandchild because of so much stuff we have in common and our cussing! Thank you for giving me the best blessing and friend, Our Katie! Thank you for shaping her into the beautiful soul she is today! She was your Angel and now you will forever be hers!
We love you Grandma & will live and love in your memory everyday!

I am so lucky to have been able to share Aunt Debbie with my kids. She was promoted to Aunt Doe Doe a few years ago, because of her constant silliness. She always knew how to make us smile. Aunt Deb had a gift for finding the wackiest gift that the kids did not need- we are proud owners of pie face, dont step in it , and a book called I need a new butt-- and thats just naming a few!

I will miss her voice, laughter, honesty and Christmas cheer. My goodness could she make us laugh! It won't be the same without her, especially at Christmas, but we will make sure her legacy and memories live on forever.

Mom there are so many things i am forever thankful for.. As I sit here and think of all the memories we shared. You always loved whole heartedly. Always put everyone before yourself. I will miss the times we shared, good and no so good but i have to say we had more good times then bad. I hope you know how much i love and appreciate all you have done. I was driving today just to clear my head and heard "cheer up sleepy jean" while i couldn't stand when you would sing this to me, i would give anything to hear you sing 1 more time. Your memory will memory always live on. Until we meet again.
Love you always and forever,
Jeannine

Debbie and I had an instant connection - we were meant to be friends. I only wish we had met years earlier. She was so full of love and laughter. This photo is how I remember her best.

I will miss you terribly BB and I will love you forever.

Aunt Debbie will be so missed. She was so full of love, silliness, compassion, and sass! She acted tough, but that heart of hers was golden and she could be reduced to tears in her eyes if someone was hurting. She loved her family so much and would bring the fun to every party. Christmas was the best with her games and we would laugh until we almost peed, lol. I know she is pain free now, reunited with family members and friends that left too soon, and I'm sure she is telling them all about the family and friends here that she was so proud of and loved Love you more, Aunt Debbie

I remember, as a family friend, being at one of the family get-togethers and Debbie asked me what was wrong because I wasn't acting my normal self. She was so intuitive, caring, very welcoming, and extremely funny. Marty, Katie, and Nora...I am so sorry for your loss. She was quite the woman.
