Daddy,
   You will be in my thoughts always and my heart forever!! I still can’t believe you are gone I miss you so much I know you are in a better place and no longer in pain but it’s just not the same without you!! 
You were an incredible man who touched so many lives and we are all better because of it.   I wish life would have been easier on your body, and that you could have beaten this one last battle, you never stopped fighting until you knew we would all be okay. 
Thank you for being the most amazing father in the world, we are so luck to have you as our father/hero!!! 
I know you will be watching over us all and we will make you proud!!

Poppy you were an inspiration to me and countless others. You helped shape our family into the people we are today. You were an amazing father grandfather and would've been the best great grandfather to Emmett. Everyone misses you so much already I can't imagine how life is going to go without you. I hope your resting easy poppy I love you and always will

My heart breaking for all of you...such amazing memories of our 2 families!  We were together almost every day and weekends, laughing, eating, dancing, and loving life!  I will forever hold Denny close to my heart-such a kind, gentle loving man! God is good-he is in paradise now-free of pain.  Am thinking of all of you with a heavy heart and much love.  



Poppy it breaks my heart to be writing this right now, I wish you were still here though I know you are at peace and not suffering anymore. You were the best grandfather I could ever ask for and I’m so sorry you had to go through what you did but you were always a fighter and stronger then anyone I’ve ever known. I’ll never forget all the memories we had, you watched me go through every milestone in my life. Being around you always made my day brighter and you had the best smile ever. You’re a role model and hero to us all. You have every single one of your grandchildren so much love and we all can’t thank you enough for that. I wish I had more time with you and I’m not sure how this will ever get easier but know that I love you and miss you so much already. You were the best poppy in the world.

You know how heartbroken I am for your family. The enormous love he had for you all and you for him was so apparent. I hope all the happy memories you shared over the years will bring you some comfort now.

Meg and Cate’s Nan and Pop have always treated Ava like one of their own. It’s such a testament to the wonderful people that you are that you make friends feel like family. Kelly Lee Bowen Rene Lee Geisler Shirley Lee sending you so much love and strength during this most difficult time.

Denny loved playing baseball and working at the stadium but #1 role was being Pop. Shirley and Denny's days were filled with kids soccer, baseball, school plays and functions. They were a couple that we aspire to have in our own lives.

I didn't know Mr. Denny AKA Pop very long 4 years to be exact since I started dating his grandson Corey, but both him and his wife Shirley aka Nan have always treated both me & my sons like family since the first day I walked through there door. Pop had a beautiful soul & warm smile everytime you saw him. I know his legacy will live on through all his children & grandchildren. We will miss you Pop! Rest easy!

I don’t know we’re to start. The memories are endless and the times spent with you sure were full of laughs and good times. I can remember watching you shave in the bathroom and I would be right there next to you with my ninja turtle shaving set, and getting stuck in the bathroom because I locked myself in. Or marching around to beauty and the beast and everyone behind me marching too. You were always the strongest man I knew so I knew if I was with you everything would be ok. I remember all the baseball and golf we played together, the games we would go to or watch together.  The list of memories goes on and on and I’m glad to have had every second I had with you. I hope that i am half the man that you were.  I hope u you look down on me and are proud and happy to call me your grandson.  You will never be forgotten and always be in my heart.  You will be missed so much. I’m so happy to have had you in my life and to be able to call you POP.

   My wife & I never met the man.  We are relatively recent friends of his son.  That being said, we just spent the better part of an hour crying while we listened to his close friends & family reminisce, and talk about what a amazing & loyal father, grandfather, husband, and overall friend he was, to everyone who surrounded him on his journey through life.
   I do not have much to say, but I will say that if the measure of a man is what he leaves behind him, then what I witnessed & heard in that room tonight tells me that Mr. Dennis Lee was one extraordinary man, with whom I wish I had the honor to drink a beer (or two).
    My heart breaks for all of his close family & friends.

Denny was a great man and he will truly be missed.  He was a role model for some many of us young men growing up in the Bel Air-Edison community which helped shape us into the Husbands and Fathers we are today. Thank You Denny!!! Most of all the part of Denny I remember the best is the love for his family and friends!! My thought and prayers to Shirley, Dennis, Kelly, Renee and the entire family. 

This man.... without a doubt has touched so many lives during his lifetime, including mine.  He was a devoted  husband, loving father, father-in-law and  grandfather and a loyal friend to many.  I will never forget the  trip to Florida to see Dennis graduate from basic training.  You and your family only knew me for a short few weeks, yet without hesitation brought me along on this family vacation and treated me as such.  Special bonds were forged during that trip, as well as fond memories to last my lifetime.  Both of our families had such great times together from holidays, birthday celebrations to shrimp feasts and parties at Vicky and Lee's.

From the beginning, he took me in as his own daughter and made me feel like part of his family.  I can say without a doubt that my time spent with him will be treasured forever.

As for my son, Denny was a role model and his best friend.  Corey was blessed to have grown up with a super star model grandfather.  Now he can meet up with Corey's other grandfather "Harry", throw back a cold one and talk about old times and how wonderful a man their grandson has become!

Denny may not physically be with  us  anymore, but his legacy will live on in his children  granchildren and great grandchildren.

You will be missed so much.

My heart is troubled to know such an amazing man was taken from us way to soon. I hope that his family and friends can find peace knowing he’s not in pain anymore. My childhood memories almost all include being with the Lee family. Denny was truly a inspiration to my life, he was like a second dad. The memories are too many to list. He always had a sparkle in his eye and a smile to lite up the room. I hope you are at peace and in comfort now. I can’t wait till we all meet again. God bless and love to you and your family. 

I will always remember Denny as a loving, kind and caring and good hearted person. I still remember the time you, Denny, Butch and Michael took my brother and I to a Sea Scout Halloween costume party.  My mom and dad thought the world of Denny. He is finally at peace now and will be truly missed by all. Some day we will all be together again so for now 
may he rest in peace. I am so sorry I can not be there but please know you are all in my thoughts and prayers today and always. I love you all.

Denny was so much more than just my brother- in- law. He was a truly great friend and someone you would want to model yourself after for great family values.                         
Denny was the kind of person you felt very comfortable being around. He was very kind, compassionate, caring, loving,  hard working and forgiving man. Our families made so many wonderful memories over the years, as almost every summer we would vacation together as our children were growing up.
Denny, I am a better person for knowing you. I will miss you. May you rest in peace. I love you big guy, Dean

I remember  so many good times with  Denny as we spent our teenage years  at the Arundel in Hamilton, also at the Hot Shoppe, and many, many Friday nights  at parties  at his house.  His mom was always so nice to this  crowd as we gathered at her house.  Lots of fun memories, he was such a great guy. Condolences to Shirley and the family.

I spent many a days playing softball with Denny and other members of the Sinclair Athletic Club. We loved having Denny join us for our games. He always had a smile on his face and loved hanging out with the “younger” guys. He taught us many things including “it’s only a game”. I hope Denny knows how much we loved and respected him. He will always have a place in my heart and I’ll remember the many days spent with him and his family. My thoughts and prayers are with Shirley and her family. God Bless you Denny, you’ll be missed. 

The best brother in law ever.  So many great memories. I know you closed your eyes here on earth and opened them to see the face of Jesus. No more pain, no more suffering, no more tears. You are healed and made whole. We will meet again. You will be missed by so many.

I remember Mr Denny walking out of his house in his Navy whites. I remember him coaching baseball and putting his heart and soul into helping his players. I remember eating dinner at his house as a kid. I remember walking to the house every morning so Dennis and I could walk to school. This hurts my heart but I know Mr Denny is in gods arms now.
