I need to contact the Family of Don Mason.  Can someone help me

I remember Mr. Mason when I was a youngster and he coached Eastwood baseball.  He was one of the "greatest generation" who's love of God, County, and Family were his life.  Fair winds and following seas Mr. Don, and God Bless.

I was saddened to hear the news of Mr. Mason's passing.  I pray that Our Lord will give you the graces to endure during this difficult time.  May he live always in your hearts and minds.  Our treasured memories can never be taken from us.

Rick and I were so very sorry to learn only recently of Don's passing.  Donald was such a great guy.  When we got married way back in '75, he borrowed his brother's big Cadillac to take me, the bride, to the church, since we lacked money for a limo.  
  He always had a smile, a joke and a twinkle in his eye.  We all had so much fun during our days working for the Venetoulis campaign.  And, I was always so impressed that Don spoke some Italian.  My late father-in-law, Mike Latini, enjoyed Don's Italian translation for being short of money.  As Donald put it, "My funs-a-low!  We all had a good laugh at that.

Mary and Family,  I did not find out about Don until Thursday night.  We are so sorry.  Bill is in FSH intensive care since Tuesday.  He has pneumonia. If he is no better  by Monday, they are going down the throat and drain and scrape his lungs. 
I did not know if i should tell him or not.  When I did he said everyone is gone, guess I'm next.(Sal. Fred, and Don.) So Sorry I couldn't get to the Home or Funeral. All I have been doing is running. God's Peace. Prayers and Love, Joyce & Bill

Don was not only a patriot but one of the few politicians worthy of your trust. His outstanding virtues were his honor of "truth" and his steadfast loyalty to the principals which built a better nation than we live in today. I am certain that all whose life he touched, are the better for it. I am truly honored to have called him a friend.

I loved talking politics with Don. He was a passionate patriot. I know he will be running for some office in heaven!!!

Don knew no strangers!  Everyone was his friend. He was one of the most kindest gentleman I ever met in my lifetime.  His lust for life was truly remarkable. When Don set out to do something he put his heart and soul into it.  He was a man of his word, loved his politics, his community, his fellow veterans and most of all his family.  He would always say to me  " I do this for the future of my grandkids"!  He made me laugh, made me smile but most of all made me appreciate the little things in life.  He will be so greatly missed by many... I can just see him now in heaven discussing politics with all his long time buddies! Until we meet again my friend!  I will always think of you, especially during the July 4th Parade!..............Georgia Poling

I remember Don always taking time to talk to us kids on Eastbrook Ave.  We lived a few houses over and he and his family were always some of the nicest people.  Don really cared for people and his community.  We don't have too many people involved in politics anymore with his nature, and it's a shame.

Don was a true Patriot, father and husband. I will miss his colorful comments about the political situation. When I put up a flag pole in front of my home June 14, 1969, Don had no idea who I was, but he made it a point to introduce himself and comment on the flag. I saw him many a morning walking past my house and saluting the flag. Don was very active throughout the county trying to make people aware of the misdeeds of some of our representatives, he was one heck of a fighter for justice. Don my wife and I are going to miss you immensely. We are sorry we can not be there to see you one more time. From one Navy Vet to another, smooth sailing. Rene Spenard Sr

Don Mason was a wonderful asset to Baltimore County in addition to a loving father, husband, and grandfather. He always had a story to tell and knew everyone who was anyone in Baltimore County. I'm fortunate to have known him and to have had the opportunity to debate politics with him!!! My prayers are with Debbie and family.

Mr. Don was a wonderful person. I'll never forget his kindness and support of my Dad after my Mom died. Rest in eternal peace, Mr. Don.
