Douglas Rawlings Heisey Sr., was born on November 28, 1931, and passed away on February 15, 2026, at the age of 94. He was the beloved husband of the late Bettie L (Wood) Heisey; devoted father of Richard M Heisey (Ann Mahan Heisey), Douglas R Heisey (Bonnie Heisey), Glenn W Heisey (John Flater), the late Jeffrey N Heisey; dear brother of the late Richard Heisey, and the late Peggye Heisey Kellar; loving grandfather of Lauren Heisey, Kristin Heisey Green (Timothy Green), Eric Richard Heisey (Emily Heisey), and Melinda Heisey Hugo (Carter Hugo); cherished great grandfather of Lucy Heisey, Natalie Green, Owen Heisey, Sasha Heisey, Kasey Heisey, Xavier Heisey, and Luke Heisey.
