On April 6, 2021 Edward Cecil Johnson passed away; beloved husband of Linda Johnson (nee Hicks); devoted father of Jaime Taylor and her husband Jeremy and Todd Johnson and his fiancé Jennifer Perry; loving grandfather of Akyra Glaze, Valerie Taylor, Audrey Johnson, Wyatt Johnson and Cole Taylor; dear brother of Kathy Tranter, the late Patricia Schafer and Peggy Novak; cherished best friend of Medric Knight. Edward is preceded in death by his parents Edward and Selma Johnson. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Edward was a Maryland State Highway Administration Engineer for 50 years.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather at Schimunek Funeral Home of Bel Air, on Wednesday April 14th from 2-4 and 7-9 pm, where a funeral service will be held at 4 pm.
