Edward Franklin Proctor III, born on March 6, 1946, passed away on October 18, 2025, at the age of 79. He was the beloved husband of Rebecca Horstman Proctor; devoted father of Amy Rebecca Proctor, Carrie Proctor Slothour and her husband Wayne; loving grandfather of Melody, Jasmine, Alyson (Hunter Wilson), Jade (Dylan Bray), Collin (Jenna), Ivy, Rebeka, Willow, Harper, and Taryn; cherished great-grandfather of Charlotte, Larson, Adeline, Jaxon, and Liam; dear brother-in-law of Deni Keen and her husband Rod, Trudi Klug and her late husband Wil; also loved and survived by his niece Cindy Stewart(Aaron), and great-niece Carson.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, October 29, 2025 at Oak Grove Baptist Church, 2106 Churchville Rd, Bel Air, MD 21015. Visitation will be from 9:30 A.M. to 11:00 A.M.
