Eleanor Rita Romano

On March 1, 2018 peacefully passed away surrounded by her family, she was the beloved wife of 62 years to the late Frederick Romano; devoted mother of Frederick J. Romano and his wife Maria, James Romano and his wife Cheryl, Joanne Deskin and her husband Charles, Barbara Gerwig and her husband Andrew, and Eleanor Deskin and her husband Gary; she is survived by 9 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and her close friends Gene and Maryann Kopp, Carlos Orozco and Jean Nester.

Relatives and friends may gather at Schimunek Funeral Home of Bel Air, Inc. 610 W. MacPhail Rd. Bel Air, MD 21014 on Sunday 2-4 and 6-8 PM. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Church of the Good Shepherd 828 Aiken Ave. Perryville, MD 21903 on Monday at 11 AM. Entombment Holly Hill Memorial Gardens.
