During her life, Geraldine worked as a nurse and midwife in London. After coming to America in 1970, worked as a nurse at GBMC and as a head nurse in Fallston General Hospital. After leaving nursing, she was the manager at a home health agency in Harford County called Staff Builders. Prior to her retirement, she was the health care coordinator for the Harford County Office on Aging.
Geraldine loved gardening and traveling.
She is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Tyler Brown. She is also survived by two brothers and a sister; Cahir Murphy (England), Tony Murphy (Ireland), and Sister Bernadette Murphy (Ireland). In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Frances Murphy (South Africa), sisters Monica Murphy (England) and Sister Patsy Murphy (England).
