James William Kocur passed on September 2, 2026, at the age of 79, and was a resident of Kingsville, Maryland. He was the beloved husband of the late Judith Kocur née Karwacki; devoted father of Dave Kocur and his wife Julie, Cathy (Kocur) Ellis and her husband Brandon; loving grandfather of Meghan Kocur, Kristin Kocur, Brianna Ellis, and Samantha Ellis; also cherished and survived by his nieces, nephews, family members and friends.

A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church (Fullerton) 8420 Belair Rd, Nottingham, MD 21236 on Saturday, September 19, 2026, at 10:00 am.
