Jim - throughout the 42 years that I was honored to know you,  I always thought of you as my brother and not my brother-in-law. The latter term did not do justice to the nature of our friendship. We had a lot of great times together at pool parties, dance recitals, birthdays, cook-outs, and the many Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday get-togethers. I was especially thankful for the love, respect and dignity that you showered upon my mother. We talked often and she never had a disparaging word to say about you.  I am also proud of the fantastic job you did raising three daughters: all impressive individuals with their own innate abilities and talents.  I will always be thankful for the many times you showed up unannounced and surprised me by helping with some of my weekend projects at the house on Essex Road as we were preparing to sell it. I suspect my mom would drop a hint your way and you’d take the bait despite your own heavy workload at your job. Thank you again my Brother.  I will never forget you.

Jim,  I remember when Sheri started dating you, she seemed so young! You were working right up the street from where Mom and all of us lived and that's when I found out you carried a gun. I was worried about that. And wasn't sure if my little sister should be getting involved with someone who had a gun, that you could be dangerous! Well, as I got to know you I learned that my little sister could not have been in better hands. You were the most kindest, sweetest and gentle man I had come to know. Then came  the girls, how lucky they were to have the very best Dad. I always watched you as you watched them, at every dance recital, the pride and love exuding from your face. Jim, you are a class act and I can't wait to get to heaven to see you again! First thing I will be asking you is what the hell you were doing with that bear! Because as of this day I still don't have answers! I will miss that beautiful smile and love you forever my friend❤️

Jim,  I will forever remember you and all the wonderful family times we had throughout the years. You loved your family so much and went out of your way to do small things for them that really meant the most. You were such a hard worker and gave them all the best life. I will remember your funny ways that always made me laugh. You had a quiet strength that made everyone feel safe. Praying you are reunited with your beloved mom, dad, brother and all of our loved ones that left too soon. We will love and miss you always. ❤️

Jim, our hearts are so heavy with pain and sorrow, it’s unimaginable knowing you’re not here with us physically but we will never let your memory fade, ever ❤️

You have been the best husband, dad to our beautiful girls and Poppaw to Landon. Baylee is looking everywhere for you and also grieving. You both loved me bringing her to you to pet and your smile was huge, every time. 
I can’t thank you enough for giving us our beautiful daughters and God choosing us to be their parents. We were and are so blessed. Thank you for giving me 40 years of your love, your sacrifices and your heart.

As heavy as our hearts are I’m grateful that you’re no longer feeling any pain or struggling. 
I’m grateful we were all together and was in awe at the bravery and strength you showed  with everything you had left to let our girls feel your love and pride one last time. We talk to and about you everyday and will continue to until our last breath. 
Landon has your cane and will forever cherish that. He takes it with him everywhere to include you in all he does. He will forever miss and love you. How blessed were we to have him Nikki, Angel and Shelby as ours and blessed to have Landon as our grandson. You  were so proud of Landon and loved him with every part of your being as you always have the girls. Your love and memories will forever be ingrained in all of us. 
I pray you’re reunited with our mom and dads and Bill and know we will be together again ❤️

I remember the first time meeting you when dating Nikki back in 04’, I was so nervous learning you were this long haired, Harley riding looking like you would beat me to a pulp kinda guy that also had guns, and hunted! Little did I know that you were a kind and gentle man who loved his 3 girls with everything he had, and it didn’t take me long to realize that you really can’t judge a book by its cover. I began to love you like my second dad, and just know I will forever miss you and I pray to be half as good a father as you were with your girls than I am with Landon.

Dad, I have so much to say, but right now it’s as simple as the fact that I miss you. I miss your laugh and your eyes and your advice and your company. I would do anything in the world just to be able to sit next to you one more time. The only piece of comfort I have is knowing that you unequivocally knew how much I love you, present tense, and knowing that you loved me just the same. If nothing else, I know that we left nothing unspoken and that’s all anyone can really ask for, isn’t it?

I just hope you know that when I saw your pain sneak up on you, I did not see disabilities. I saw the weight of protecting three hearts in the safe place that you spent your whole life creating for us. Thank you. For that and for everything else, forever. Please find me if I die if I’m a ball. I love you very much.
