

Born in Baltimore, he was the beloved son of Mary (Rider) Reyerson and John George Reyerson, Sr. James was the devoted husband of Claudia (Huya) Reyerson with whom he shared 47 wonderful and loving years of marriage. He is also survived by his brothers John George Reyerson, Jr. (Carolyn Coll), Joseph Charles Reyerson, Jerome Michael Reyerson (Arlene Icie Holler), and his sister Mary Bucci (Joe Bucci). James is also survived by his beloved nieces and nephews.
A resident of Harford County since 1964, James graduated from Harford Community College and then began a career at IBM where he was employed as a printer service technician for 30 years. With his retirement, James started part-time employment at Courtland Hardware. He had just received his 20-year pin. He was diagnosed with cancer 4 years ago and had just received a very positive report from his doctor and treatments stopped. James sustained an accidental injury that resulted in his death.
James was a life-long Orioles and Colts/Ravens fan and an avid softball player for many years. He loved golf, gardening, scuba diving, traveling, bowling, and working in his yard. He deeply loved Claudia and they were inseparable and at his death Claudia was holding his hand and comforting him. James, you are missed!
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Bel Air Volunteer Fire Company, Inc. 109 South Hickory Avenue, Bel Air, Maryland 21014-3730 for their exceptional service to the Reyerson family.
Visitation will be held at Schimunek Funeral Home of Bel Air, Inc., located at 610 W MacPhail Rd., Bel Air, MD 21014, on Monday, December 29, 2025, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Saint Ignatius Catholic Church, Hickory,(Historic Church) located at 533 E Jarrettsville Rd., Fallston, MD 21050, on Tuesday, December 30, 2025, at 10:30 am.
The committal service will follow at Bel Air Memorial Gardens, located at 809 Rock Spring Rd., Bel Air, MD 21014.
