Jane Inez Hess

On December 1, 2021 Jane Hess (nee Roche) passed away. She was the beloved wife of Walter "Bud" Hess; devoted mother of John Curtin, III and his wife Terri, Julie Curtin-Owens, Walter Hess and his wife Patti, Michael Hess and his wife Beverly, Ruth Hess, and Melissa Kendall; cherished grandmother of John Curtin, IV, Joshua Curtin, Melissa Hess, Lauren Hess, Angel Hess, Daniel Hess, Garrett Hess, Lindsey Holter, Julien Holter, Desi Tidwell, and Carmen Tidwell; loving great-grandmother of Hayley, Alyssa,

John V, Bennett, Selah, Autumn, Jase, Carter, and Quinn; dear sister of Joyce Ruby, Jim Roche and his wife Wendy, and the late John Roche, Gerry Scully, Judy Napier, and Jackie Roche. She also survived by her dog Pippa, granddog Luke, and her many beloved nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit at Schimunek Funeral Home of Bel Air, Inc., 610 W. MacPhail Rd. Bel Air, MD 21014, on Monday, December 6, 2021 from 3-5 and 7-9 PM, where a Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Gardens of Faith Memorial Gardens. Those who wish may make a memorial contribution in Jane's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or to any Humane Society of your choice.
