Janice Catherine Kober, 87, of Whiteford, Md., passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, August 23, 2017, with her loving family by her side. Born July 21, 1930, at her home at 503 N. Washington St., Baltimore, to Ellsworth Paul Kober and Mildred Margaret (nee Lotz). Janice graduated from St. Andrews Business School located in Baltimore City and became an astute entrepreneur and business owner.

Beloved mother of James P. Novak and his wife Rita, Mark M. Novak, Sr., Karen L. Novak, and the late Cynthia S. Novak; dear sister of Marilyn M. Ayd and her late husband Donald Sr.; cherished grandmother of Nichole K. Worth and her husband Robert, Lisa A. Stinebaugh and her husband Stephen, Mark M. Novak, Jr. and his wife Wendy, John M. Novak and his wife Kimberly, and Jaclyn C. Novak, nine great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, and many loving nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather at Liriodendron Mansion, 502 W. Gordon St, Bel Air, MD 21014, Thursday, September 7, 2017, from 5-9 PM; Vigil Service 6 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in honor of her daughter Cynthia S. Novak to the Lupus Foundation of America, 1319 F St. NW, Ste. 305, Washington DC 20004.

I am so sadden to hear this news ! I had no idea Ms,Janice had passed away ! I worked for Ms,Janice for many years ! Im just so heart broken that i didnt hear about her passing until now ! She was such a Wonderful person ! And Boy did she LOVE going to the BEACH !! Im just so sorry that im just finding out ! Very heartbroken !
