On March 29, 2023, Jean Dolores Hess, age 90, of Bel Air, Maryland, passed away peacefully at home. Beloved mother of Catherine Bordelon and her husband Keith, and Christopher Hess; loving grandmother of Lauren and Zachary Bordelon, and Ashley, Amanda and Amber Hess; and loving great-grandmother of Camila Hidalgo. She was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth J. Hess. Jean was a devout Catholic and loved teaching children.
Relatives and friends are invited to call the Schimunek Funeral Home of Bel Air, 610 W MacPhail Road (at Rt. 24), on Tuesday, April 4, 2023 from 2:00pm-4:00pm and 6:00pm-8:00pm. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Margaret’s Church, on Wednesday, April 5, 2023 at 10:00am. Entombment to follow at Highview Memorial Park Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Harford County Retired Teachers Association HCRSPA.org
