On December 2, 2014, Joan Dolores Mattson (nee Fried) passed away. She was the beloved wife of the late Edwin Joseph Mattson; devoted mother of Joseph Charles Mattson and his wife Kathryn, Stephen Paul Mattson and his wife Joyce, and Anne Marie Vukovan and her husband Michael; loving grandmother of Megan Hoffman, Matthew Vukovan, Mary Grace Jenkins, Michele Mattson, Christine Mattson, Thomas Vukovan and Anna Mattson; dear sister of Linda Vitali; beloved sister-in-law of Patricia Mattson; cherished friend of Gordon Seibold.
Relatives and friends may gather at Schimunek Funeral Home of Bel Air 610 W. MacPhail Rd., Bel Air, MD 21014, on Thursday 3-5 and 7-9pm, and Friday from 9-10am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 11am at St. Ignatius Catholic Church (Hickory, MD). Interment services private.
