

As the daughter of an Air Force Crew Chief, JoAnn spent her childhood living in several locations across North America, including Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas, and Newfoundland. She spent more than 25 years at Owens Illinois, where she worked demanding, labor-intensive jobs to provide for her family and build a better future for those she loved.
JoAnn’s greatest joy was her family. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, creating memories through family vacations, road trips, shopping excursions, favorite restaurants, music, and laughter. She was known for her honesty, loyalty, and willingness to help others. She also enjoyed gardening, traveling, and finding the perfect Christmas gift for those she loved.
JoAnn is survived by her husband, Victor Sudano; her sons, James Waller (Joan) and Timothy Waller; her grandchildren, Acacia Rowland (Evan), James Waller Jr. (Michele), Joseph Waller (Yi Chen), Caitlyn Sudano, Nicholas Paolino, and Scott Dietrich; her brother, Christopher Farinetti (Jan); her sister-in-law, Sharon Farinetti; and her stepchildren, David Sudano and Donna Marie Arias.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Anne Farinetti; her brothers, Joseph, Johnny, Raymond, and Ronald Farinetti; and her sister, Patricia Farinetti.
JoAnn will be remembered for her unwavering love of family, generous spirit, and the many cherished memories she leaves behind.
A visitation will take place at Schimunek Funeral Home of Bel Air, Inc., located at 610 W. MacPhail Road, Bel Air, MD 21014 on Tuesday, June 23rd, 2026, from 4PM to 8PM and on Wednesday, June 24th, 2026, from 9AM to 10AM.
A funeral service will take place at Schimunek Funeral Home of Bel Air, Inc., located at 610 W. MacPhail Road, Bel Air, MD 21014 on Tuesday, June 23rd, 2026, at 6PM.
Following the visitation on Wednesday, June 24th, 2026, a committal service will be held at Glen Haven Memorial, located at 7215 Ritchie Hwy, Glen Burnie, MD 21061.
