On May 20, 2021, John Gilbert Boeren passed away. He was the beloved husband of Erna Beck Boeren; devoted father of Diana Lynn Canter, John Kenneth Boeren, and Jeffrey William Boeren and his wife Linda; loving grandfather of Mark Canter, and Ava, Amelia, Mason, Rachel, and Ethan Boeren.
John Graduated from the University of Maryland School of Pharmacology in 1955. He began his career as a pharmacist at Read’s Pharmacy. He also worked at Church Home and Hospital and later retired from Franklin Square Hospital.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the Schimunek Funeral Home of Bel Air, 610 W. MacPhail RD, Bel Air, MD 21014, on Monday, May 24, 2021, from 5-8 PM. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, at 10 AM, at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Highview Memorial Gardens.
