Judith "Judy" A. Muhl

Judith A Muhl, age 78, of Bel Air, Maryland passed away on Sunday, February 9, 2025. Born on May 15, 1946 in Baltimore Maryland she spent time in as a real estate agent but left to focus on her family.

She then returned work for a career in retail and Judy went on to be the General Manager of a local chain of card shops. She retired from her position to watch her granddaughter.

In 2000 Judy and two of her daughters Laura and Catherine purchased Juliet’s Bridal Boutique where they worked together until they sold the business in 2013.

Judy is predeceased by her mother Agnes Loretta Kelly her father Charles August Reitz her sister Barbara Anne Sutherland and her husband Robert James Muhl.

She is survived by her daughters Kelly Jones, Catherine Showalter, Laura Barnaba, Melissa August, and Amy Hagenah, loving grandmother of Zoe Jones, Gage Pollack, Tanner & Reese Showalter, Aidan & Lila Barnaba , Brynne & Lane August, Taylor, Brody & Charley Hagenah.

Judy enjoyed spending her free time at her and Bob’s home in Ocean City Maryland. She loved sitting outside enjoying the water views with her friends and family at their house in Belcamp. She also loved gardening, reading and the theater. Her children and grandchildren were her true source of joy.

She will be deeply missed. Her family will be wearing green to honor Judy at her services and invite everyone to join us.

A visitation for Judy will be held on Sunday, February 16, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Schimunek Funeral Home, 610 W MacPhail Rd, Bel Air, MD 21014. A funeral service will take place Monday, February 17, 2025 at 11:00 AM, 610 W MacPhail Rd, Bel Air, MD 21014. Interment in Gardens of Memorial Gardens , 5598 Trumps Mill Rd, Baltimore, MD 21206.
