Jule Ann Grepps

On August 15, 2026, Jule Ann Grepps passed away peacefully and was welcomed into God’s heavenly kingdom. She was the daughter of Lawrence Prince, Jr. and Anna Rose Marth. Born on March 12, 1944, she grew up in Baltimore, Maryland, and lived the last 50 years in Fallston, Harford County. She was the beloved wife of Paul Robert Grepps III, a proud mother, and a hero to her three boys.

Jule was a graduate of The Catholic High School of Baltimore, Class of 1962. After high school, she began working in Dundalk at the Western Electric Company soldering cords. She later attended Marc’s School of Beauty in Essex and, after graduating, worked as a beautician at Elegant Coiffures.

Jule devoted herself to raising her three boys, and as they got older, she returned to work in jobs that often kept her connected to their schools and activities. She worked as an X-ray film librarian at Fallston General Hospital, a cafeteria worker at Fallston High School, and an administrator at Fallston Swim Club. Later, after her own children were grown, she worked as a paraeducator at Youth’s Benefit Elementary School, where she continued caring for and supporting children.

Jule and Paul shared 58 years of marriage, and their love changed and grew along with the life they built together. What began as a young couple who loved dancing and going out with friends grew into a partnership centered on raising their family, building a home, and sharing the responsibilities and joys of everyday life. Jule especially loved having everyone gathered at their home, whether for holidays, celebrations, or simply time together. Through 58 years of marriage, the shape of their life changed, but the things at the heart of it remained the same — family, friendship, companionship, and being together.

Jule was a social person who loved being surrounded by family, friends, and neighbors. She was a member of the Red Hat Society, enjoyed playing Bonco, and was active in the PTA. She also volunteered with the Harford County Historical Society and enjoyed genealogy, not only researching her own family history but also helping many others discover theirs. She had a gift for making friends and maintaining friendships that lasted throughout her life.

Family was always at the center of Jule’s vacations and time away. When her boys were young, the family spent many trips camping together, and Ocean City became another special place for family time. Jule and Paul celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in the Outer Banks surrounded by their family, a fitting reflection of the life they had built together.

Music was also an important part of Jule’s life. She had a natural talent for music and, when she was younger, played piano in an orchestra called The Mello Men. She continued to play the piano and organ throughout her life. She loved listening to music and dancing whenever she had the opportunity, and she passed that love of music on to her children.

Jule also found great joy in being creative and in making things for others to enjoy. She loved cake decorating, baking and sharing her Christmas cookies, creating stained-glass pieces, and

decorative painting, a hobby that showcased both her creativity and her talent. Throughout her life, she made many things for her family to keep, leaving behind special reminders of her that will continue to be treasured for years to come.

Whether she was creating something, baking something for someone, volunteering her time, or simply spending time with others, Jule found ways to bring happiness to those around her. The happiness she shared, the pieces she created, and the memories she made will continue to be remembered and cherished by her family and friends.

In addition to her husband of 58 years, Paul Robert Grepps III, Jule’s light continues to shine through her sons, Paul Grepps IV and his wife, Lisa; Eric Grepps and his wife, Barbara; John Grepps and his wife, Danielle; and four cherished grandchildren, Maeve, Hazel, Charlotte, and Lucien Grepps. Jule was preceded in death by her sister Linda Rodriguez and survived by her brother Larry Prince and his wife Nancy.

A visitation will take place at Schimunek Funeral Home of Bel Air, Inc., located at 610 W. MacPhail Road, Bel Air, MD, 21014 on Thursday, August 27th, 2026, from 2pm to 4pm and 6pm to 8pm.

A funeral service will be held at Schimunek Funeral Home of Bel Air, Inc., located at 610 W. MacPhail Road, Bel Air, MD, 21014 on Friday, August 28th, 2026, at 11:30am. With an interment to follow at Holly Hill Memorial Gardens located at 10201 Bird River Rd, Baltimore, MD 21220.
