Beloved wife of Samuel Graham; devoted mother of Holly Hood (Aaron Sahlin); cherished Nana of Dominic Hood, Breana Sahlin, and Kaden Sahlin; dear sister to Janice Schuman and her husband the late Joseph Schuman; loving godmother of Jennifer, Kristen, and Erin; also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Karen was the heart of every room she entered, known for her warmth, kindness, and the deep love she so freely gave to her family and friends. A devoted Baltimore Ravens fan, she could often be found cheering on her team with unwavering enthusiasm and sharing that excitement with those around her. Karen found joy in life’s simple pleasures; lively games of bingo, listening to Reba McEntire and classic country music, and enjoying her beloved crab cakes from Vince's Crab House. As a lifetime auxiliary member of the VFW, she carried a strong sense of community, loyalty, and compassion throughout her life. More than anything, she will be remembered for the way she made others feel deeply loved, welcomed, and cared for, leaving behind countless memories that will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
Relatives and friends may gather at the Jarrettsville Manor Memorial VFW Post 8672, 1714 Morse Rd, Jarrettsville, MD 21084, on Saturday June 6, 2026 at 2:00PM for a celebration of life.
