Kathleen Marbeth Kelly

Kathleen Marbeth Kelly, age 78, of Fallston, Maryland passed away on Friday, August 30, 2024. Beloved wife of John E. Kelly; devoted mother of Kernan Kelly and his wife Erin; loving grandmother of Brooke Kelly, Trey Kelly, Bryce Kelly, Gavin Kelly, Reid Kelly, Nathan Gilpin, and Andrew Gilpin. Preceded in death by her son Scoop Kelly and her parents Edith (nee Hoefer) and Frank Kernan.

Kathleen attended and was a graduate of University of Maryland College Park and Towson State University; as a teacher for Baltimore County Public Schools she was named BCPS Teacher of the Year in 1972; she was also an AKC Delegate for 30 years with the Boston Terrier Club of America and a prominent realtor in the Harford County community for 40 years.

A Receiving of Friends will be held for Marby at Schimunek Funeral Home of Bel Air, Inc., 610 W MacPhail Rd, Bel Air, MD 21014 on Tuesday, September 24, 2024 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Mark’s Roman Catholic Church 2407 Laurel Brook Road Fallston, MD 21047 on Wednesday, September 25, 2024 from 10:30 AM.
