On February 22, 2014, Leonard Podgorski passed away. He was the husband of Carol Podgorski (nee Treece); devoted father of Steven Podgorski and his wife Meaghan; dear brother of Dolores Beres and her husband Eddie, Fred Binkowski and Sandra Bolfa; loving grandfather of Lincoln Podgorski. Also survived by many nieces and nephews, as well as many friends. Leonard served in the 173rd Army Airborne. He graduated from the University of Baltimore; worked for the Baltimore City Police Department for 29 years and retired from Johns Hopkins University where he worked as a Lock Shop Supervisor.
Relatives and friends may gather at Schimunek Funeral Home of Bel Air 610 W. MacPhail Rd, Bel Air, MD 21014, on Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9pm. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 10am at the funeral home. Interment Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens.
