

Linda was born on April 29, 1949 in Baltimore to John and Evelyn Teichert.
Linda is survived by her children, Doris Glanville (Rudolph) and Glenn Burkhead Jr. (Robyn) and their father, Glenn Burkhead Sr., Linda’s former spouse, who remained her lifelong, loving friend. She is also survived by her two grandchildren, Glenn Burkhead III, Garett Burkhead (Emily) and their children; her sister, Mary Davidson; and many nieces and nephews including her niece, Diane Reyes, who held a special place in her heart.
She was preceded in death by her grandson, Richard Hoback.
Throughout her life, Linda was known for her remarkable work ethic and dedication to others. She built a diverse career spanning retail and food services, professional moving services, and assisted living support where she helped maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents. As a transportation aide for vulnerable children, Linda took great pride in ensuring that every child in her care arrived safely and felt secure. Her commitment, compassion, and reliability left a lasting impact on those she served throughout her career.
A memorial service will be held on June 26, 2026 at Schimunek’s Funeral Home in Bel Air, MD at 11am.
